This is my chocolate chip recipie!
But here's the recipie anyways.
This recipie isn't going to be super healthy so sorry but...
For this recipie you are going to need:
1/2 cup of butter
1/4 cup if granulated sugar
1/3 cup of light brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 cup and 2 tablespoons of plain flour
1/2 teaspoon of bicarbonate soda
However much Chocolate you want
(For this recipie you are going to need to use hard butter, like a block of butter and not the spreads. I don't know why, but when you use the spreads the chocolate get stuck to the grease proof paper for some reason)
Step 1:
Preheat the oven to 180°c and line a Backing tray or 2. This recipie makes between 9-12 cookies depending in how big you want them to be.
Step 2:
Chop the butter into small cubes, so it is easier to mix. Then add the 2 types of sugar and mix until they become a light brown colour and are smooth. Don't worry if there is a few small butter lump, when you mix everything else in it will become easier to mix them.
Step 3:
Once the mixture is smooth add in the egg and vanilla. It will go a very weird like curduld texture but it's fine haha!
Step 4:
In a deprecate bowl mix together the flour and bicarbonate of soda. Slowly add the flour to the mixture a few tablespoons at a table until it is all gone and you are left with a smooth cookie dough
Step 5:
Chop up the chocolate init little chunks and then add them to the mixture and mix until they are evenly mixed in.
Step 6:
Once it I all ready, scoop the mixture onto the baking tray. I scoop about half an icecream scoop. This makes 9
Step 7:
Put them in the over for 11-14 minutes and when they are done leave then to rest on the tray for 5 minutes and then take them off and put then on a cooking rack. And tada they are done. I sprinkled some of the left over chocolate on top.
I hope you all like them:)
